IT”S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s terrible that I haven’t posted in a few weeks but it has been a whirlwind of craziness. We found out that Baby Bischoff is indeed a boy! His name will be Landry Michael Bischoff and we can’t wait for him to join us in August. Believe it or not, the nursery is painted, ceiling fan and curtains are hung, bedding has arrived, and the furniture will be delivered Tuesday. (Pictures to come very soon!) I guess you could say that I definitely have my energy back and have slipped into nesting mode.
Spring break has already flow by, a week’s worth of travel seemed to pass in an afternoon. I had a wonderful time visiting family and friends in the great state of Alabama. My mom and grandmother threw my sister and I a double baby shower in Fairfax, Alabama. It was such a cute little place. It was once a Mill Village and they have converted the old kindergarten building into a quaint little venue. It was perfect for the old-timey décor that my mom, grandmother, and aunt had planned.
We had a wonderful day visiting with all sorts of family and friends. My mom’s best friend since 3rd grade came and stayed with us all day. She brought my sister and I the most beautiful baskets full of all sorts of monogramed goodies for Babies Landry and Easton. Here is a peak of our cute little gift tables…
It was so much fun to spend the afternoon with my favorite cousins, one of which is also expecting, and my 2 childhood best friends, another of which is expecting!! We laughed at one another as we compared baby bumps and exchanged name suggestions and cried as we realized we probably won’t see one another again until after all of our babies arrive. It’s so nice to have friends and family that you may not see often but you can pick up right were you left off before.
Best friends since babies…Kristy, me, Kady, and Jamie
My BFF Kristy My sis & cousin Gage
My favorite little tot, Sye and a pack of preggos
It was a wonderful ending to a relaxing spring break. Thanks Mom, Grandmomma, and Aunt Pam for all of your hard work. The shower was a huge success. I love each of you girls that spent all day with us laughing and working and making lasting memories with us!!
To end, when I think about little boys I get a little nervous. I have never been around little boys before and I always thought I would be a mom to little girls. But, after spending so much time with my cousin Marissa and her little guy Sye, I have decided that having a little boy might not be so bad. If Landry turns out half as cute, snuggly, and smart as Sye I will be one happy momma. Check out this little precious piece of work…
