Mike and I were able to experience one of the most incredible things ever this weekend!!! For Christmas, my mom and dad gave us a gift card to have a 4D sonogram session. This weekend they came for a visit and along with the 2 of them, Mike and I and his parents headed off to Stork Vision in Frisco. We had a 15 minute sono session that included several printed pictures, a CD with all of the pictures and a DVD for us to take home. It was SO amazing that words can hardly explain. I got to see my baby boy look so real and so much like a baby and not just a black and white “I think I see what you’re pointing at” thing on an itty bitty screen.
I know that I am bias, because he’s my child, but he was the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. As I laid there on the table I could hardly see through all of the tears as I thought about how wonderful the Lord has been to me and how much he has blessed Mike and I over the past year. This has been the most amazing journey so far and as much as I love being pregnant and having Landry with me all of the time and feeling him kick, I can hardly wait to experience the feeling of holding him in my arms. This 4D sonogram experience made it so real for me. Once you see the following pictures you will understand why. He is going to be one beautiful baby!!!
The 1st picture she took was the regular sonogram but if you tilt your head to the right you should be able to see his little face looking at you.
The little munchkin’s foot!
He was shy at first, he kept How precious is that little nose!?!
his hands over his face for the longest time.
Yes that is his foot that is crammed up there beside his ear…I just can’t get over how sweet that little nose is!!
He was such a sleepy little boy, he yawned several times and even stuck his tongue out for us. I can’t wait to kiss those precious little lips as soon as he gets here.
One of my favorites with his little tongue sticking out.
And last but not least, my very favorite picture. Such a sweet little precious baby and I can’t believe he is all mine. In just a few short months I will be able to post pictures of Landry’s precious little face while I’m holding him in my arms!! I can not imagine what that will feel like!
Also, here is a short video that they gave us on our DVD. Here is Little Landry’s first yawn. He was definitely wide awake that day but I guess a little sleepy. He moved and wiggled, and kicked, and yawned the entire time.
Thanks Mom and Dad, I could not have asked for a better present. I love you both!!!
LOVED this post....you need to keep the posts comin'!:)
